What I offer
Mental Health Training, Courses and Speaking Services | Paula Fontenelle
For Clinicians
Practical, research-backed training for therapists, counselors, and clinical teams who want to feel more confident and prepared in some of the most challenging areas of mental health practice.
Suicide Grief : Understanding what survivors carry, what clinicians often miss, and how to build a therapeutic framework that actually meets this grief where it lives.
Facilitating Suicide Grief Support Groups: How to hold space for a room full of people carrying one of the heaviest losses there is. Structure, clinical considerations, and the human skills that matter most.
Working with Suicidal Clients: How to assess risk, stay regulated, and build a therapeutic relationship with clients in crisis without losing yourself in the process.
AI as a Relationship: How to recognize synthetic attachment in your caseload, assess dependency and isolation, and integrate AI into your clinical framework and suicide risk assessment.
Available online or in person. Sessions typically run two hours and can be adapted to your team's needs.

Corporations and Government
Suicide is not only a clinical issue. I work with corporations, organizations, and government bodies to build awareness, reduce stigma, and develop frameworks for prevention and response.
Topics include suicide prevention, postvention, suicide grief in the workplace, and the psychological impact of AI on employee wellbeing and organizational culture.
Available online or in person. Adaptable to your context, audience, and goals.

2.AI and Relationships — consultation for families and the general public
If someone in your life seems more emotionally connected to an AI than to the people around them, you are not imagining it, and you are not alone. What you are witnessing has a name, a clinical explanation, and a path forward. More and more families are navigating this quietly, unsure of what to call it or who to turn to. This consultation is for them.
In a one-on-one session, we will talk through what you are seeing, what it means for your relationship or family dynamic, and what you can do about it. You do not need to come with answers or a diagnosis. You just need to come. I will help you make sense of the rest.
